"Dad!" Thomas had darted over to his father's car as he had parked and gave him dabs.
Griffin rubbed his head. "Tommy." He greeted and rubbed his eleven year old's head affectionately. "I hope you're playing fair." He told him and grabbed the basketball from his hands and threw it over to Benjamin who quickly tossed it through the hoop. The group of boys, Presley Dustin, Alex, Benjamin, Jay, Jasper, Seth and Tyrese were often outside
"I told you Tyrese sucks at basketball, Jasper." Benjamin  stated annoyed with his brother as he had hopped in front of the boy to claim the ball before he could, and began to dribbled around attempting to avoid him.
Griffin shook his head and watched his son dart over back to the other boys and headed over to the house where fifteen year old Kitty was sitting with her ipod blasting beside her sister Dawn while doing her nails. "Did mom make you two hang out together again?" He asked as he made his way inside.
"Hi daddy." Kitty greeted then shook her head. "No, we were bored." She admitted. "And worrying about finding a boyfriend." She smirked knowing how much that bothered her father.
"You wish." Griffin said and grabbed both of their phones checking through  the contacts. "I want those boys deleted both of you." He said and smacked both their heads lightly before heading inside. "And remember, I don't want you guys hanging around Alex or Jay alone." He warned and walked over to Jane and kissed her head. "Hey baby." He greeted and sat beside her.

Tyrese glared at his brother then grabbed the ball and threw it at his head. "Shut up faggot!" He said and punched him in the stomach.
Benjamin put his younger brother in  head lock. "I'm going to kick your ass kid."

"It doesn't work like that Jay, you need to form a bond with the child. It's a maternal instinct, not something you can just 'learn'." Dawn growled and continued to glare at him.

"It doesn't hurt to get the basics down." Jay muttered. "I'm trying." He slowly brought Keith back to Avril and took a seat alone.

"If you're not faking it." Miles chuckled.

Dawn curled up in her seat, trying to get a little sleep.

"I'm not," Ryder told him honestly and shut her eyes, tuning out the drama from the kids.

Kitty sat beside her sister again when Jay walked away and nuzzled against her to fall asleep.

Miles nodded and shut his eyes slowly becoming tired.

Ryder exhaled and nuzzled against Miles, falling asleep quickly.

Griffin awoke early and had begun to jump on his seat with a cape around his neck making 'pew' noises. "Dead, dead, dead, I just shot all of ya!"

Jane rolled her eyes and pulled him down by his ankles. "Shut up, let us sleep."

Griffin plopped down onto his butt and grunted. He put his finger fun to her forehead. "Oh no, the prophet is going to murder his wife! Somebody stop him!"

Thomas quickly jumped in and jumped on his father biting his hand. "I saved you mom!" He said excitedly.

Jane rolled her eyes at Griffen. "Thank you Tommy." She grinned and pulled him up into her lap to smother him with kisses.

"Hey that hurt!" Griffin whined then brought up his pretend gun again. "Pew! Pew!" He smirked. "Oh no I just shot the king!" He gasped.

Thomas giggled as he was kissed then began to pretend to die. "Momma, I leave the royalty to Queen Dawn." He said and pretended to die.

Kitty grinned at her family having woken up to their joking around and slowly pulled Dawn over to them. "You're the queen now because King Thomas has died." She said enthusiastically.

Cora sat near the front, watching the road ahead, bored.

Jay went and sat next to Cora having woke up a few minutes earlier and looked over at the family a bit envious of their closeness.

"Morning." Cora grumbled, glancing at Jay as he sat down.

"Morning." Jay greeted and looked her over.

Cora rested her chin in her hands. "Sleep well?"

"I slept pretty good actually." Jay shrugged.

Cora nodded and returned to looking out the window.

Jay looked at her curiously. "What are you thinking?"

"About the future." Cora replied.

"What do you see in that?" Jay asked curiously.

Cora shrugged. "Nothing."

"You can tell me." Jay told her quietly. "Not that mine is looking any better."

Cora looked at him oddly. "What do you mean?"

"Don't worry about it." Jay answered and leaned back.
