"Dad!" Thomas had darted over to his father's car as he had parked and gave him dabs.
Griffin rubbed his head. "Tommy." He greeted and rubbed his eleven year old's head affectionately. "I hope you're playing fair." He told him and grabbed the basketball from his hands and threw it over to Benjamin who quickly tossed it through the hoop. The group of boys, Presley Dustin, Alex, Benjamin, Jay, Jasper, Seth and Tyrese were often outside
"I told you Tyrese sucks at basketball, Jasper." Benjamin  stated annoyed with his brother as he had hopped in front of the boy to claim the ball before he could, and began to dribbled around attempting to avoid him.
Griffin shook his head and watched his son dart over back to the other boys and headed over to the house where fifteen year old Kitty was sitting with her ipod blasting beside her sister Dawn while doing her nails. "Did mom make you two hang out together again?" He asked as he made his way inside.
"Hi daddy." Kitty greeted then shook her head. "No, we were bored." She admitted. "And worrying about finding a boyfriend." She smirked knowing how much that bothered her father.
"You wish." Griffin said and grabbed both of their phones checking through  the contacts. "I want those boys deleted both of you." He said and smacked both their heads lightly before heading inside. "And remember, I don't want you guys hanging around Alex or Jay alone." He warned and walked over to Jane and kissed her head. "Hey baby." He greeted and sat beside her.

Tyrese glared at his brother then grabbed the ball and threw it at his head. "Shut up faggot!" He said and punched him in the stomach.
Benjamin put his younger brother in  head lock. "I'm going to kick your ass kid."

"Yeah well we aren't fifteen anymore Cedar. You know that, that specific subject gets to me." Mia said and took a small step back.

Jacki stopped midway and came back towards him. "Alex you should really start clarifying the things you say."

"I'm sorry, I mean I don't have anything against it." Alex told her reassuringly.

Cedar looked at her sadly. "I know we're not, and like I said I'm sorry Mia, you know I usually stick up for you come any other given situation."

"No you don't actually. You always say you would rather just stay out of it." Mia reminded him.

"Fine." Jacki said and went back to eating.

"It depends on the situation Mia." Cedar responded. "I love you, we never discuss these things you expect me to just assume or know next time voice your opinion just like you did now and I'll know."

Alex looked at his own food awkwardly and carried on eating.

"I just think that I shouldn't have had to tell you, it should have just come instinctively." Mia sighed.

Jacki finished eating ten minutes later and yawned.

"I'm sorry." Cedar said and wrapped his arms around her. "Now I know alright, I promise. I won't let it happen again."

Alex leaned back in his chair tiredly.

Mia rested her head on his shoulder and sighed lightly.

Jacki watched him with crossed arms quietly.

As a few people had began to dart inside, Cedar narrowed his eyes slightly and kept his gaze fixed on a blur far away. In the distance he could hear someone yell, 'sand storm'. He quickly nudged Mia inside and shut the door. "Sand storm."

Alex looked at Cedar curiously then looked back to Jacki. "What's a sand storm?"

"If there's a sand storm how is Percy going to get to us?" Bladen asked uneasily.

"We can leave him." Emmett grunted and kept his arms crossed.

"We aren't leaving him Emmett." Aria said sharply.

"Like a tornado. It's actually a really terrible idea to be in here. We should probably get into a cellar or a basement of some kind." Jacki told him and stood up to pull Elliot over close.

Mia frowned and looked over at her kids.

"Come on everyone downstairs." The store owner finally said after unlocking the door and gesturing for everyone. "This was completely unexpected."

"You don't say?" Cedar said beneath his breath and gestured for his kids to go down. "Come on kids go downstairs now." He said waiting for them."

Emmett narrowed his eyes. "Even if he does come he's better off good as dead, it's hell outside. Percy will never make it."

"I hope when we make it through this, you know you aren't getting back on the bus." Aria told him simply and walked past him and downstairs with the kids in toe.

"I'd be damned if I was left in the dirt with my kids." Emmett sneered.

"Guys stop." Avril said gently. "Look there's no need to be fighting right now we all need to stay put." She shot a look at Emmett. "And you need to learn how to control that mouth."

Lilith looked up at her father a bit uncomfortably. With her mother, and brothers dead she only saw her best friends mother closest to a parent now. She took her place by Summer's side and held her hand.

"We'd take your kid dickhole." Aria snapped back, ignoring Avril.

Summer squeezed Lilith's hand gently.

Emmett only glared at her. "I wouldn't dare let that happen." He responded sharply and looked over at Lilith who was close to Summer's side. What more did he have left? The only woman he had loved, and his sons were now cold and lifeless. He winced at the thought and took his spot alone. He only put an arm around his face and began to mourn.

Avril put a hand on Aria's shoulder gently. "He's mourning." She said softly. "He's in the dark he just needs some guidance about now. You and I don't know how it feels like to lose a kid none the less two." She explained.

Lilith looked up at Summer after looking at her father. "Dad said that my mom and my brothers took a different bus? Were they mad?"

Summer stood silently, unsure how to respond.

Aria shook her head. "I really don't give two shits Avril, he is rude and inconsiderate. There isn't a decent bone in his body."

"There isn't if he told me off like he's told off most of you I probably wouldn't be phased by his sorrow either but somebody once told me to kill them with kindness." Avril slowly walked over to Emmett and passed Keith to him after conversing then returned back to Aria.

Lilith only looked down.

"No." Aria shrugged simply and walked away to sit by herself.

Jacki and Elliot sat on the ground, waiting for something to happen.

Bladen looked over as the tv was turned on and began to watch. The storm was expected to last a week or two. This was bad, they needed to keep moving.

Griffin stared at the tv in disbelief. "Two weeks?"

Aria pulled out her phone and dialed Percy's number.

Summer shook her head at the tv. "We should just go."

Cora sat in the corner of the cellar and huffed, watching everyone interact.

"It's suicide." Avril told them. "Driving in that? We won't see a single thing ahead of us. Besides we need Percy."

"But we could take it slow." Griffin argued. "It's better to keep pushing. Emmett ma have had a point, he can't get here by air it'd be a crash landing."

Percy picked up immediately. "Aria." He greeted.

"I think driving in this is a bad idea." Kitty told the other kids quickly.

"Don't come, there is a sand storm." She said quickly.

"Obviously." Seth told her and rolled his eyes.

Kitty shot him a look then shook her head. "I mean I think they're going to try and leave in this storm anyway." She tried to explain.

"It's true." Alex piped in. "I mean the adults are kind of reckless to go."

Percy remained silent over the phone for only a moment. "I can't, I'm coming anyway."

Ryder sat against the wall in the back of the cellar, tracing her finger in circles while she listened to all of the conversations going on in the room. Before they left the bus all of the windows were rolled down in order to cool them down, so that meant that the bus was more than likely filled with sand. She shrugged the thought off and shut her eyes, they would be here for a while.

"No, listen to me. You can't, it's suicide." Aria said immediately.

"They wont." Jacki shrugged. "My mom isn't that reckless."
